I purchased a pair of these Simms guide stockingfoot waders to replace an old pair of Orvis Clearwaters, which had been patched about 20 times over the past couple years.
Durability: Excellent
I've been through briars, thistles, and lots of tall grasses and shrubs, and these have yet to spring their first leak. They're at least twice as thick as my old Orvis waders.
Comfort: Good
These fit me perfectly, but I find them rather difficult to get on and off. This is partly due to the stiffness in the lower leg, caused by the 5-layer gore-tex lower leg. They feel great while fishing, they're just a little difficult to get on and off.
Features: Average
These are pretty much no-frills waders. There's a flip-out chest pocket, built in gravel guards (neoprene) an included patch kit, and an included belt, but that's about it. I find that's sufficient for me, but some may want handwarmer pockets / front zippers etc.
Conclusion:
I'd recommend these in a heartbeat. They feel very well built, and in my first season with them, they haven't given me anything to complain about. MSRP is $359.95 . You can buy them at Amazon.com or your local fly shop.
little pricey for me.
